Charlotte Elise Ives

Basic:
- DOB: August 4, 1667
- Birthplace: Salem, Massachusetts
- Gender: Female
- Occupation: Librarian at Nevermore Academy

Personal:
- Magical Abilities: She is skilled in spells, incantations, and hexes, but Charlotte's specialty is potion making. Years ago, she created a potion that significantly reduced her aging. With this, she has managed to slow her aging process almost to a halt. She is not immortal (though she's working on that...) but she has been around for hundreds of years. The potion is unique to her, if anyone else were to take it, it would not work on them.
- Personality traits: Kind. Level-headed. Creative. Thoughtful. Empathetic.
- Temperament: Calm and collected until she's taken all she can.
- Introvert/Extrovert: A mix of both. She's polite and outgoing, but also a tad bit shy. She's protective of her peace/solitude, it doesn't bother her to be alone.
- Intelligence: A smart cookie. Most of her free-time is spent reading and studying.
- Self-esteem: Very confident. Her confidence can sometimes be mistaken for arrogance just by the way she carries herself.
- Hobbies: Reading. Shopping (she's got a bit of a problem ((obsession)) with clothes). Painting/drawing. Writing. Bird watching. Flower picking and collecting.
Family & Relationships:
- Key family members:
Mother (Anna. Anna was a skilled witch, Charlotte's best friend, and her tutor when it came to the ways of magic.)
Father (William. William was a rather absent father, they were not close.)
(both parents are deceased)
- Other Family: If she has other family, she doesn't know anything about them or their whereabouts.
- Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
- Partner(s)/Significant other(s): Various partners/lovers over the years. She is typically always the one to end/leave the relationship.
- Children: None.
- Pets: She currently has one gray cat that she rescued named Celeste.
Notable life events/milestones:
- When Charlotte was in her mid-20s, the Salem Witch Trials came to a head. Charlotte's father turned on her mother Anna and was willing to turn her in to be tried and possibly executed. Anna, out of fear for her daughter's safety, urged Charlotte to flee. Charlotte was heart-broken to leave her mother, but Anna insisted on staying behind as a distraction from her daughter's disappearance. Instead of a distraction, Charlotte's absence fueled William and the town's paranoia. In her trial, Anna was accused of murdering her daughter as a sacrifice and was promptly executed. Two of Charlotte's only regrets in life are leaving her mother and not returning to Salem to burn it to the ground.
- Charlotte changed her last name, but kept her first and middle as her mother had named her.
- Charlotte has always attempted to keep a low profile. She moves frequently enough that no one typically notices the lack of normal aging. She never attempted to seek out other witches or anyone with supernatural abilities. However, over time, she grew lonely in her solitude, longing to be around others like herself. Eventually, she was drawn to Nevermore Academy where she happily took a job in the school's library. She found herself a cottage not far from the school and has felt more at home than she has in quite some time.
